The colors of bones and blood. There is no truer message of love for nature and its divinity than this combination.

These look sooooo incredibly good…

These look sooooo incredibly good…

veareflejos:

Huipil [Wee-peel] is a Spanish term for a Maya woman’s traditional blouse. It is the most personal, communicative and significant part of her traje or costume, and the grandest form of the culture’s weaving heritage. It is used to identify the specific village of the wearer, her social and marital status, religious background and beliefs, wealth, authority and individual personality.
This Guatemalan huipil may be the most beautiful one I’ve ever seen.  Ignore the awful, machine made skirt.

Given a chance at immortality ….

would I take it?

I have been working on the philosopher’s stone and the far east enlightenment route, I also believe that the 2012 event we are all expecting might enable the humans who are ready to move on to the next step in evolution which may (or may not) result in a longer life span and possibly immortality.

That has brought me to wonder whether I will take the jump, given the opportunity. Would I vote myself of the cycle of samsara? Will I assume that this is the best me I can ever be and give myself the chance to use this as the starting point for future growth or will doubt assail me and drive me to refuse that gift expecting it to be bestowed upon me again at a time when I will be better fitted for this adventure?

And if I can share the gift, who will I share it with? Will I select to go at it alone bearing the loneliness of an unusual long life or will I elect a few special beings to accompany me?

Given the chance, what will you do?
